CHILD, ADOLESCENT COUNSELING
An assessment of a young person's development in the context of his family, school and
community is made. New coping and decision-making
skills are explored. Parents are encouraged to work with the therapist in encouraging the child's growth and development.
FAMILY THERAPY
The counselor acts as a facilitator to help families resolve conflict and change behaviors that are not conducive to healthy family life.
GROUP THERAPY
Clients achieve self- awareness and learn new healthier relational behaviors in a supportive environment. All
groups are led by a professional
counselor and are limited in size.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is one of the most effective therapeutic methods used to help individuals reprocess memories for the purpose of desensitizing the effects of traumatic or negative experiences from auto accidents, assaults, rapes and other traumatic events. A therapist trained and certified in EMDR.
